Our whole aim is to blend into your day like a guest. So you feel comfortable and at ease. In fact, if you head over to the reviews page; one of our couples said ‘on the day they blended in with our guests so well that we've had comments that some of our guests didn't even realise we had photographers there!’ So there you have it!
We know how to work together as a photographer and a videographer really REALLY well. It’s what we do, and we’re married so we know each other inside out. We know how to work the ceremony room without getting in each other’s shots as much as possible, or how to help each other out during parts of the day. It’s all in one.
Photography & Videography is worth the investment. It gives you that chance to relive it over and over, and see parts of the day that the both of you may have completely missed! It’s the chance to have precious photos and memories of loved ones. Photo and video give you that bit of everything. It’s the one thing that means more after each year of marriage. It’s also why family photos are important!
We’ve filled in the enquiry form… what’s next?
We will check if your date is available & contact you back with all the info . We will offer a google meet chat (if you want it) to discuss your plans (and probably meet our cats). We will send you the booking form, invoice for the booking fee which is £500 & contract via our super easy online system, which Calum loves. Once it’s all signed, sealed and delivered - We’re your team! Then, we shoot your wedding, enjoy all your wedding antics, try not to cry at the ceremony & capture hilarious dance moves whilst no one is watching. Then you get to relive it all over again!

CAN WE BOOK YOU FOR PHOTO ONLY OR VIDEO ONLY?
Yes of course! We offer a photo only package and a video only package. With photo you’ll get Alexandra and with video, you’ll get Calum. Head over to our Packages & Pricing page for more info.
WE DON’T LIKE OUR PHOTO BEING TAKEN. HOW WILL YOU HANDLE THAT?
Us too, well sort of! But we get it. We always aim to make people feel relaxed. We have loads of tricks up our combined sleeves to do so and sometimes you won’t even notice we’ve snapped you! We are very good at making it feel relaxed & fun. Also, if you’re nervous - most of the time you’ll just laugh which definitely doesn’t look awkward. You’ll look back at your gallery remembering all those happy feelings.
WILL OUR PHOTOS BE EDITED IN THE SAME STYLE THAT’S ON YOUR WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA?
Yes, absolutely! We pride ourselves on the consistency of what we offer. But it is worth thinking that lighting, weather, colour palettes you choose for your wedding, venues and locations can have an impact on the look of your images. An outdoor wedding full of colour and bright bouquets in summer time will look different to a winter wedding where it’s cloudy or overcast, where you’ve chosen muted tones and your venue is a barn, for example. That’s why our full galleries that you can look through will give you a variety of different weddings. All have been edited in the same process.
CAN WE SEE A FULL WEDDING THAT YOU’VE PHOTOGRAPHED & FILMED?
Definitely. If you head over to the photo and films section of the website, you can see full galleries at the click of a button, just below the photo slideshow. You can also see a wide selection of wedding films. It’s really important that you like our approach to wedding photos and films and that you like our style. You’ll also get a sense of how we shoot at a wedding day but also be able to see the variety of weddings we have. We want you to be able to see what we deliver to current couples.
WE WANT OUR WEDDING FILMED BUT BEING FILMED FREAKS US OUT.
Unless you’re a Youtube sensation? We film in a super lowkey way, so half the time you’ll be like.. are they filming? Or photographing? What’s going on? We are stealthy and go undetected. Guests won’t even know :D Well… there’s always ONE guest that knows and clocks you every time haha.
WHAT DO WE GET WITH THE VIDEO PACKAGE?
Whether it’s the photo and video package or the video only package you will receive a cinematic highlight film, the speeches and the ceremony in full. All recorded with audio from the day. Depending on the amount/duration of speeches and length of the ceremony (ours was literally 5 mins) you should receive around an hour worth of films.
DO YOU DO AUDIO FROM THE DAY?
We do video properly, we take as much care with the films as we do with the photos. It is not an after thought or an add-on, it’s one half of our business. We emphatically do audio, we use several discreet microphones to capture all of the important things said from well wishes from guests to your vows and the speeches. Hearing your voices from your wedding makes the films so much more than just moving pictures and music, it adds all the emotion and love that you felt on the day.
WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC USED IN THE FILMS?
All our music is fully licensed and painstakingly chosen by Calum to fit your film perfectly. We view it like scoring a film, so the music helps tell the story and compliments the emotions and the tone of the day rather than a slideshow with your favourite song playing over it.
HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED/FILMED AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?
Mostly, we photograph and film at weddings we have never shot at before and this is most definitely not a bad thing! It brings a fresh approach to it where we can see the space and make a professional and creative decisions about the best places for shots e.g. couples photos. We pride ourselves with knowing what we’re doing and being professional. We always familiarise ourselves with all venues we attend as much as we can. It’s our job to be prepared and behind the scenes we make sure we’ve done just that! We have also shot at the same venues before but ultimately your gallery still will look different because every wedding is individual and weather and time of year can also change the look. It’s important to recognise that your day is one of a kind and we approach it in that way!
DO YOU DO ALBUMS?
Yes we do, for an added cost. You can order these through your gallery when it’s delivered via the online shop.
DO YOU DO GROUP PHOTOS?
Yes yes yes! We recognise that this is still important to many couples! We advise no more than 8-10 groups to keep your sanity and ours, and so you don’t miss the important parts of your day and mingling with your guests! We keep them relaxed and natural. It’s always worth considering the timings of your day for group photos. Normally we do them straight after the ceremony following the confetti line so please allow a minimum of 1.5 hours for your drinks reception so everything can be captured.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
We do indeed travel and we love it! We will travel wherever you need for your wedding. We love to see new places and new landscapes. Travel costs are covered within mainland Great Britain and includes travel costs wedding packages only. If accommodation is needed this will be added on to your package. We don’t do destination weddings due to having a young little one.
WHAT IF OUR GUESTS WANT SOME PHOTOS?
To make things easier for you, we upload all your retouched images to a password-protected online gallery. You can share this link with your guests, family & friends so they can view your images, download & order prints if they wish.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes we’re fully insured both with indemnity and public liability. Occasionally your venue may request to see our policies. Please let us know and we can send it to the person in charge at your venue.
COVID…
If you need to change your wedding day due to a covid lockdown and weddings legally not being able to go ahead, then there wouldn’t be any charge if your new date fell in the same year but if the new date was in the following year, there would be a £250 charge. This is because we update our prices yearly, but also have to protect our own business and what we do for a living. If we were unable to cover your new date, we would hire associates to film and photograph your day and we would edit it ourselves (as is the case if we were too sick to attend or injured). If we were unable to find cover, we would issue you a refund of all monies paid minus the booking fee. We are both fully vaccinated including the booster and continue to practice covid safety.
DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS?
Yes we do, for an additional cost with your package. This is why we offer it as an add on so if it’s something you really want, you can. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, ask us any questions and feel more comfortable around us! After all, we’re with you all day! Engagement shoots are about an hour long. You can also use the photos for wedding invites! We can suggest locations if you’re stuck for ideas or go to a location of your choice. WHEN DO WE BOOK IN OUR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
You’re welcome to email and ask about dates but normally we will contact you with a month in mind, as we plan out our engagement shoots across the year around wedding season. We cannot book engagement shoots during summer wedding season, more specifically July-August. Please let us know if you have a location in mind and we can discuss it prior your shoot. You’re also welcome to bring your dog along to the shoot if you have one.
DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU?
We do ask to be fed at weddings as many venues are far away from something decent to eat, and we don’t like to leave weddings in case we miss something. This doesn’t have to be your wedding breakfast meal, it could be a tab open at the bar for example. But a proper hot meal is very much appreciated on the day as we take our break when you’re eating. It refuels us for evening antics!
WE LOVE YOUR WORK, HOW DO WE BOOK?
Yay!! This makes us very happy! If you love the style of our photography and films, then we would love to capture all the magic of your day and hear all about your plans. We have already started to book into 2025, so it’s always worth checking your date is available as early as you can. Photography and videography are one of the first things to be booked up! So, all you need to do is head over to our packages & pricing page and click the ‘enquire’ button for the package you’re interested in (whether photo & video, photo only or video only). We ask fro a £500 booking fee to secure your date as well as the signed contract through our easy online portal. Your final balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding. HARASSMENT AT WEDDINGS
We do not tolerate any form of harassment at weddings. This is reflected in our contracts. We are hired by couples to do our job and do it well, however if we find that a wedding guest is harassing either or both of us, we will approach the couple to ask for the guest to be removed so we can complete our job effectively. If this is not done, we have the right to leave your wedding. Every person in every job deserves to not be harassed at work and to feel safe and this job is no different. If you have questions about this, please do ask us.
